To: Anyone considering working with Rage

When Jon asked me to write a letter of reference for Rage I quickly agreed knowing how easy it would be to extol the virtues of such an awesome design and merchandising firm. If my words seem too flattering to be true, I invite you to give me a call and I'll reiterate them in person. My name is Matt McAleer and I'm the marketing director for the Wynkoop Brewing Company in Denver, Colorado. Rage has been working with the Wynkoop for more than five years, mostly as a graphic design firm and purveyor of custom logo t-shirts and apparel. When I first took the position five years ago, I had inherited several relationships with different companies but soon realized that Rage was by far the easiest to work with, the most creative, honest and reasonably priced. Rage currently handles ninety-five percent of the Wynkoop's silk-screening and a staggering amount of our embroidered goods. They have provided illustrated graphics for advertising and promotional signage. They've come through at the last minute, time after time, worked late, delivered over the weekends, and basically bent over backwards further than a contortionist on a Midol overdose. I love those guys.

And I guess the biggest point I could make about Rage is that I love working with them. Art design requires a good idea, solid communication, and dedicated follow through. I come up with a general idea for a design, communicate it poorly(usually) and get shocked by how well the art department cranks out awesome designs project after project. And when designs need changing, they understand, make great recommendations and tweak it until it's perfect.

If you're wavering about working with Rage, do it. If this is the first time you've heard of them, get to know them. And if you need more convincing, I'll be happy to take your call.

Sincerely,
Matthew McAleer
